Puerto Rican Parade and Cultural Organization of Northwest Indiana, Inc.
present the 2008 Puerto Rican 2 – Day Cultural Festival and Parade in honor of our United States Military Branches
The Parade is located at 140th and Indianapolis Blvd in East Chicago, Indian.
This annual tradition provides much more than music, dance and memories. It serves to mold, what was once a fragment body of nucleus of community, rich in pride, dignity and leadership. Through the organization’s cultural endeavors, it is a celebration of the Puerto Rican people who have come to life in the Northwest Region of Indiana and the surrounding suburbs including the Chicago Metropolitan area.
Parade begins at 12 Noon on Sunday, July 20th
Parade Route:
Start at 152nd and Indianapolis Blvd North to Columbus Drive There will be a Special Parade Appearance by Salsa Diva: Brenda K Starr |
