Metropolis Performing Arts Center | 111 W. Campbell St. | Arlington, IL 60005 (See Map)
Wednesday 7:30pm - 9:30pm
Detail: It’s the show that ran at Metropolis for over a year and it’s back for
a limited engagement. Featuring true stories of women from around the
world.
The Vagina Monologues is a poignant, provocative tour
of...well, that area. The stories are funny, witty and always candid,
creating an eclectic mix of narratives all centered on the experience
of being a woman. Whether reminiscing on a sexual escapade, the joy of
giving birth or ranting about
the numerous injustices that women
endure (aka doctor's visits), each experience brings a new light to
women's sexuality and its role in their lives. Plus, we’re bringing
back cast members from our original hit run! Includes strong adult
language and themes. Not recommended for children or young teens.
