The Exchange Club of Naperville will be hosting the 22nd Annual Ribfest July 2-5 in Knoch Park near downtown  Naperville with 103.5 KISS FM, U.S. Cellular, and Westwood College.  Ribfest has 17 of the top Rib vendors in the world, an additional 34 food vendors offering everything from ice cream to corn on the cob, two stages of entertainment, a carnival and a free family area.  The Miller Lite Main Stage will host Heart as the opening act on July 2nd, Sara Evans on July 3rd, Todd Rundgren on July 4th and Huey Lewis and the News on July 5.  Also featured will be Blue Oyster Cult, North Mississippi All-Stars, WAR and Herman’s Hemits starring Peter Noone.  Daily there will be free family entertainment including an aerial circus, a magic show, inflatables and face painting.  Ribfest hours are from noon to 10 pm daily.  Cost of admission is $10 for adults, children 11 and under are free.  Discounted tickets are available for $8 at participating Jewel stores prior to the event.  Fireworks will be displayed at 9:30 on the 4th of July, gates will open for free admission at 7:30 pm on the 4th.   For more information go to www.ribfest.net.  All proceeds raised go to support the fight against child abuse and domestic violence.
